Nimonic 901

Ni-Fe-Cr alloy for turbine discs and rings with balanced creep strength and forgeability.

Introduction

§01 — General

Nimonic 901 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed for gas turbine discs and rings requiring high creep strength combined with good forgeability. The controlled Ti+Al content provides precipitation hardening while the balanced Ni-Fe ratio ensures good hot workability for forging operations.
